So later on tonight I'm going to order 1MB Broadband but which ISP should I get it from? Here's a list I've made:

Wanadoo 1MB Broadband - £34.99 per month, capped - yes, 30GB per month.

Pipex 1MB Broadband - £33.99 per month, not capped.

AOL 1MB Broadband - £29.99 per month, capped - yes ??GB

BT 1MB Broadband - £??.??, capped ???

So, which one do I get? If I missed out any be sure to tell me...

I use Pipex and have never had any problems. They are cheaper than most others as well.

Well, after deciding yesterday to go for Pipex, I might just have to go for Plusnet myself. I can't really be spending too much on Broadband until I know how much cash I can play with after all the necessary payments have come out.

Harhar. Please engage brain.

Annyywaay, AOL suck ass. Adverts like 'We offer high speed service and parental controls!'. Which EVERY other person can get on ANY other internet service. Pipex are good.

Both those connections are capped. 512K unlimited from Plusnet is £21.99 and 1Mb is £29.99 unlimited. The £14.99 512K has 1GB a month and the £23.99 1Mb has 2GB a month. There are a variety of packages in between with different caps.

I am with Pipex and can recommend them. PlusNet are decent on price as you can get 2Mb for £39.99 uncapped :D. £29.99 for 1Mb is what PlusNet charge for uncapped. They do a variety of 1Mb services from £23.99 which are capped, but you can upgrade mid-month and pay a little more for uncapped.

As I said I am with Pipex with 1Mb at £28.95 which is the special price which finishes in October. If Pipex decide not to lower their prices then I might move to PlusNet and get 2Mb from them.

Oh another point can you actually get 1Mb? Have you used an online checker to confirm 1Mb is available on your line?
