I was browsing the web recently... And came across a couple of movie triva snippits about R2-D2...
Now... noramly, I stear clear of this kind of thing... (Especially the sites)...
Since the majority of this stuff is rarely interesting, largly dubious, and often seems forced...
However... :)
After I grabbed this info 'bout the one half of Star Wars very own robotic double act, I proceeded to mention the tidbits of info to some a few of my mates down the pub last weekend...
Wherein I discovered that all my info was well known to the general populos... and had been for a goodly amount of time...
Scuppered! ... Anyway... :)
Has anyone else discovered any interesting movie trivia that they thought was new and interesting, only to find out that the rest of the world already considered it useful only for wrapping their fish and chips in?

1. In Raiders of the Lost Ark, when Indy is translating some hyroglyphics, one of them contains the visage of R2-D2...
2. In close Encounters... When the Flying Saucer lands and opens its doors, one of the visiting Aliens is R2-D2...
