There are, in fact, quite a few sites dotted around the net with 8-bit music classics on...

It's certainly possible - you just need to record the song from tape by - for example - connecting the headphone socket of your hi-fi to the mic socket of your sound card, and recording the input to a WAV or MP3.

Then you just output it to audio CD using the software that should have come with your soundcard and/or CD-writer.

i tried using my CD rewriter to put the tunes onto CD's but it won't work - does anyone know if it is possible?

I may see if I can connect my hi-fi to my sound card and sample them. Will take some doing due to the distance between hi-fi and PC, and the awkward positioning of my PC... but it's not impossible.

lol... Is it still possible to listen to it as a music tape... or is it most definitly stuck as a novelty item?
