Don’t worry this isn’t a review but the Legend of Mir could be the beginning of a trend? Remember when the Playstation 2’s version of Tomb Raider was supposed to be the last and extra levels, items etc… were to be downloadable off the Internet not a bad idea if I say so myself.
Imagine a WWF game perhaps Smackdown 3 and to upgrade it instead of dishing out another 40 quid to buy a new game download them onto the game, extra Wrestlers, new arenas, new moves, extra clothes and new game modes all could be downloaded. Same with football games as well.
Sure we will need a new game for new storylines but imagine no more sequels, you get one game and just continue to upgrade it! This could increase the amount of original titles we see on all systems as well.
Some of you who read N64 magazine will know that the Gamecube memory cards are big enough to hold an N64 game and N64 magazine honestly believe there is a good chance that memory cards could have NES, SNES and Gameboy (not N64) games in them! How about downloading NES, SNES and Gameboy games off the Internet and onto the Gamecube memory cards?
The Legend of Mir makes this not as outrageous as we might have first sounded? So what do you think? Do you think downloadable games are something that will feature in the future of gaming?
Here’s to the future

If you go on the website- http://www.legendofmir.net
then you can see what its all about- as for the CD, they have recently announced that they are making CDs to save people having to download it. You can request a CD on the website- you just have to give them your e-mail address and they will e-mail you as soon as the CDs are ready for shipping.
