Am I the only one who doesn't like this game? The game itself runs very slowly (And people were moaning that Mario Kart was too slow) and the handling is actually quite crap. When you're only going 30 mph, you don't suddenly spin out of control, with back wheels sliding left, right and centre. But you do on this game. I think it's an overated game and Rallisport 2 is so much better.

Your thoughts?

It really is the best racing game ever. Even without a tuning option it creams the Gran Turismo games, the second of which took up most of my young life.

Each to their own I guess.

I used to think PGR2 was the best racer, but I just love the feel of Rallisport 2. I personally find it so much more fun - and most of my friends do play it, so that helps.

PGR2 is the best racing game since Gran Turismo which was the best since Virtual Racing on the Mega Drive; thus making it the best racing game to date.

The first RalliSport was a pretty average game, took me under a day to clock. Online would be decent but it's not one a lot of people on my list play, nore is it one that would stop me from playing PGR2 on LIVE.

PGR2 is sublime. SUBLIME!

Rallisport 2 > PGR2

Nah, PGR2 is by far the best. You only spin out of control if you are really bad at it. And doing 150 MPH. There is nothing slow about the game. Sure you don't have the fastest cars on the first couple of sets, but it gets steadily better. And then you get the Enzo...

When you come off Rallisport onto that you'll see the difference. Rallisport just out performs PGR 2 in terms of speed and control. Although as Edgy says, I still enjoy the game.

Project gotham Racing 2 is not your average racing title. It's as close to a rythm action game as any game in the racing genre could ever be. It's slow? Try being in a TVR Cebera, or Prsche 911 GT1. Immense.

You need a slap or 6, young hove.

I agree with that but still enjoy the game.

It's not a realistic racer, just pretends to be.
