This is the E3 issue of NOM and comes with a cd-rom full of E3 videos and stuff, including every DS game. An interview with Shigsy about Mario 128. And then the usual.

Gamecube:

Mario Golf: 87%
Harry Pothead and the blah blah: 79%
Rainbow Six 3: 71%
Max Play 01: 12%

GBA:

Sonic Advance 3: 83%
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror: 82%
Shining Force: RotDD: 82%
CT Special Forces 3: 81%
Digimon Racing: 71%
Scooby Doo 2: 54%
Van Helsing: 52%

Nes Specials:

Legend of Zelda: 9/10
Super Mario Bros: 9/10
Ice Climber: 8/10
Bomberman: 4/10
Donkey Kong: 7/10
Excite Bike: 6/10
Pac-Man: 6/10
Xevious: 7/10

Overall, quite a good issue.

I can't believe those Nes games got such high scores.


Don't get me wrong, they're classics, but without nostalgia or a specific interest in the originals, they're not really a great play...
Or maybe they were scored based on Nes standards...

Very true. I want another NGC DVD.. I'm fed up with their dumb books they covermount every month which just go in the bin.

Dunno. Think I might just stick with my Tiger Woods! Got Mario Golf on the N64, and to be honest this doesn't really look that much significantly better. The graphics don't even look as good as I'd expect a game as simple as golf to look on this console so long into its life cycle.

I got it on import almost a year ago. Still, it rocks heartily, and even despite it technically being a year old, its well worth a purchase. I've written a review on it here if you need any more info.

Try gettin a better graphics card mate :P
