Wouldn't it be great... I think we'd all be mesmerised by the graceful colours of Beethoven's 6th Symphony... Like a pale water colour it would just float there... how tranquil. We'd be fascinated by the shades of red and orange and gold in the 007 Thunderball theme song!

I just can't believe that we can't see it! I suppose mentally we can be taken away into a surreal world to witness the amazing shades that suround us!

Amongst all the polution and drearyness that surrounds our pavements and houses, there must be such beauty... if only we could see it.

I have seen sounds in a dream once, but as you know, we have no control of dreams... they're out of our reach. I mean, we say that the graphics on modern-day consoles are the best graphics we've ever seen and the best to come for a while, but compared to real-life?! Pah! they're nothing!

But in turn, would looking over acres upon acres of hills, meadows and landscapes be anything like seeing the sounds that we've heard. They say a picture paints a thousand words, but sound paints more... It gives off such emotion... and if only we could see it with the eye and not the heart!

My God, it would be amazing!

The Geforce 3 maybe good, but I assure you the picture of sound would be undescribable!

Interesting you should say that game. There is a 'disease' known as synaesthesia in which people with this condition can hear colour, taste shapes or see sounds. There's little known about exacty how it's caused, whether it's a neurological or pathological but it does exist.

Famous people who have been diagnosed this condition are Beethoven, Kandinsky and other members o the art world.

It is often confsed with autism.

Search on it and check it out, it's quite interesting.

There's a game on the PS2 coming out that does just this. It takes music from CDs and builds whole levels that have a lot to do with the music. It's actually quite pretty, much better than any pre-written thing.
