Aha here is some useful bits of information:

Facts:
The Gamecube will cost $199.99 now we expect it to cost the same in pounds but after the GBA which costed $100 in America and was supposed to be £80 over here we can expect it to cost a measly £160!!!!!

THQ have announced 15 Gamecube titles including WWF Wrestlemania oh joy. Rare have confirmed Perfect Dark 2 will appear on the Gamecube with an expected release date of autumn 2002!

Gamecube games will cost 6,800 yen which in our currency comes out at a shocking £35. Shigsy wants to bring directors cut games to the Gamecube. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 to be a GC title. Bomberman for GC and so is the previous X-box only Malice. Mortal Combat for GC once again! Gundam Wing for GC.

Rumours:
It is heavily rumoured that Capcom are to bring Resident Evil to Gamecube with real time backgrounds and extra stuff. Febuary is rumoured to be the release date of the Gamecube in Europe!!!!

Developer Bioware hint at Star wars RPG for Gamecube very interesting. It is also rumoured that Shigsy might bring his Mario demo out as a GC title called 100 Mario’s. It is unlikly but Mario is rumoured to be playable in Luigi’s Mansion!

No GC Pokémon game until 2002 but it is said to have a really good link between the GBA and GC cool. HAL would be happy to release canned 64 game Earthboundm to the Gamecube. It is Likely that Midways Spy Hunter will appear on GC.

Also unlikly but hopeful that Sonic will be playable in Super Smash Brothers Melee! Shigsy to have Mario finished in time for GC launch has been rumoured! Sega’s weired game Monkey Ball might be bundled with the Gamecube at launch!

Now Nintendo and Namco are friends they have confirmed that many titles are in development I’d put my money on Ridge Racer but here’s hoping for Point Blank and of course Tekken.

Sorry. Thought you were talking about N64 Mag and not the official guide writers.

The TWINE guide "written" by N64 magazine was published way after the ign guide was setup.

To be honest, I'd rather Namco ported Soul Calibur to the GC than Tekken. Oh, and I find N64 copy stuff from the net - for instance, the TWINE guide was worded in the same way as the guide from IGN.com!
