On Thursday, Konami announced that it will release Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for the North American PlayStation 2 this November. The Japanese release will follow one month later in December. According to Konami, the reason for the earlier release in North America is to coincide with the holiday shopping season, beginning Thanksgiving Day. The game was originally planned for a simultaneous worldwide release. Released in September 1998, the first Metal Gear Solid game for the PlayStation has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide to date.
Dunno myself, but if Konami remember to put my name on a dead soldiers dog tags, I wont mind too much.
Operation Flashpoint is fantastic.
A big buggy right now, but still awesome.
A wargame where you can drive/fly anything you can see, and it becomes a mini-sim.
Jumping into a Hind helicopter, loading up your online mates and flying across maps that can take up to 20 mins to cross, flying into a mountain and bailing out at the last second to parachute gently down to earth whist your team-mates curse you for killing them
Or, shoot holes in walls!

Yeah...PS2 releases...to be honest, there isn't anything on the horizon that I think "Wow!"
GT3...I like the others..but this is the same really, just nicer. I might get it after a couple of months.
MGS2, oh yes.
I've been far more into my PC lately.
Black and White, Operation Flashpoint, Desperados, Counterstrike...
Commandos 2 today, Train Sim soon...*claps hands*
By the way, Goaty - glad to see you haven't disappeared completely after that other business!
I really do.
This is about the only PS2 game coming that appeals to me right now.

Hopefully, then, this implies that we (and the rest of the world) will also get the game in December, along with the Japanese.
