I saw this film recently and I have to say that I was very disappointed indeed.

Not only was Elmo not in it, but neither were any of my other Sesame Street favourites.

Where were Bert and Ernie?

Where was Cookie Monster?

Where was Count?

Where was Grover?

Where was Oscar the Grouch?

Where was Big Bird?

All far away from this trash.

In fact the only muppet in it was Rob Lowe.

So if you're a fan of Elmo I'd avoid this, and choose The Adventures Of Elmo In Grouchland.

Elmo in Grouchland tells the tale of Elmo on an adventure to get back his special blanket from the villianous Huxley.

It features plenty of faboulous songs, and ALL of your Sesame Street favourites are there.

Except Rob Lowe.

I think the Stallone version of Get Carter was a pretty good display of Hollywoods intention to maintain the validity and dignity of its better flicks?

I dont care, as long as they don't make it, let them fight.

Nelson was harsh in that movie.
What a class act.
And such big nostrils too.

The only thing stopping the BC is Hugh and Judd Nelson's argument...

which apparantly started on the set of BC...

and has kept them on non-speaking terms ever since?

Dont mention that movie to me.

FB2....how? How can you do that? He was all that school cool was about. And Cameron, I dont want to know what his dad did about the Ferarri.

Breakfast Club 2?
Sacrilige. It's not on. A beaufiful, funny, stupid in places movie with choice dialogue and Emilio Estevez in a vest, dancing badly whilst on "reefer".

This can't be man...just cannot be.

In the name of all things Holy, please, let this not happen

Aye... tell me about it...

They have already made a Wierd Science TV series (which has benn running for a couple of years now).. and plans for a Ferris Beuller series to boot...

The worst thing is, that the new movies are all Hughs idea...

Although the idea of the breakfast club being set at a highschool reunion does hold (verly limited) potential... I cant imagine how they are going to get FB2 to be anything but a scar on the legend that is Ferris Beullers Day Off...

I guess all too much Home Alone finally sent hugh over the edge? ...

And for those of you who want to feel depressed...

They are making a sequals for both the Breakfast Club and Ferris Beullers Day off

(also I think a Wierd Science sequal is on the cards... Pretty in Pink may be... but I'm fairly sure 16 Candles is still being left alone?)

For nostalgia, you can never, ever beat The Breakfast Club.

Emilio Estevez as The Jock
Anthony Micheal Hall as The Nerd
Judd Nelson as The Greaser
Ally Sheedy as The Oddball
Molly Ringwald as The Princess

You have ever single base covered for who you were at school, the writing is fantastic and Paul Gleeson as The Teacher owns this movie.

"I got you" (makes the metal sign) "Two months, I own you. Anything else to say Mr Smart Mouth?"
"Yeah, does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?"

Absolutely killer film.
As are ALL John Hughes movies.
Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful...ah..sweet memories
