I refer to my previous answer. Accept it, or be wrong forever.

splinter cell is by far the most realistic but if your looking into some more action metal gear solid will be best

I'm speechless.

Words aren't fit to express this level of idiocy...

Hahahaha. Let's all point and laugh at the retard.

This is fine, but nobody else believes the same.

Ironing.

> What did mgs use was just sight.

Haha. This shows how little you know about MGS. It uses sound alot. Such as when you walk on metal, your feet tap and the guards will hear you. You will catch a cold if in the cold too long (showing MGS brilliance) and cause you to sneeze, again, alerting the guards to your presence.

Now go fool. You have no idea what you're on about.

I still stand by my ideas that MGS isn't better.

MAV, you're in no postion to actually make a comment if you haven't played either of the games. retard.

Haven't played either of the Splinter Cell games, so I'm not in a position to judge.

Some of the criticisms you levelled at Metal Gear Solid, however, were ridiculous.

It does have it; this goes to show your seriously inferior knowledge of Metal Gear games.

As for the Splinter Cell Rollercoaster comment...

...

That is all.

Yes of course it does, care to explain where you run around blowing stuff up all the time? Please give me some examples, take your pick out of the original Nes games through to the PSONE game, then the second and then onto the GameCube remake. I think you will come out with similar results to what you seem to have positioned between your two ears.

Idiot.

You mean you can't in Thief? You clearly haven't played any of the Thief games or a Metal Gear game (the latter being smack bang evidential) and as such you just start ranting about Metal Gear being Rambo and coming out with hilarious comments like the Thief one above. As much as I love the Thief series I have never had a problem sneaking up and capping someone and in some instances due to the fact there aren't any fancy cameras picking your movement up it is far easier.

> MOre like a poor attempt to actually make the game harder. Hey, looks

This is where I lose faith in arguing my point with you; it's like replying to a retarded monkey smacking his head on the keyboard.

Metal Gear is NOT a pure stealth title, you don't need to rely on sound all of the time (you do on the snow sections and on metal grates), instead the game takes a cinematic approach to stealth titles utilising a friendly game engine and a mixture of action and stealth, the latter genre can be played with a mixture of action whilst still remaining in stealth.

Oh and the GameCube version does have a radar with GBA link-up, fool.

> In thief don't you shoot lights out? jeez. Some people.

No actually, moron, you fire water arrows at the fire torches.

> Looking back, yes SC was slightly challenging. I didn't delete it.
> But i was stressing the point that some of the things that MGS use to
> make things challenging are simply things to annoy.

You mean like the ability to take the radar away, in other words using the same style as Splinter Cell. Metal Gear has smarter AI, rooms will be cleared and you will be hunted down and if not more guards will be sent into an area to keep an eye out. In Splinter Cell all you have to do is shoot the lights out and you can get through each of the missions with no challenge at all, that isn't an exaggeration that is how it works.

> Most enemies go around in groups.

No they don't.

> If one goes down he begins radoing in.

Another highlight of your inferior knowledge, this was in both Metal Gear games and it did implement the ability to even shoot the radio long before linter Cell.

> If the alrm sounds, they get better protected against armed assualts.

Same for Metal Gear.

>Next time things get more difficult resorting to arms. Stealth is paramount if guns are required.

Splinter Cell has an awful combat system, if you get to the stage where you are running and triggering gun fights then I think a step back to Barbie: Swan Lake maybe a wise idea.

As for the idea that its
> just a rehash. So was mgs2 a rehash of mgs2 with better graphics

Erm... Metal Gear Solid 2 was a rehash of Metal Gear Solid 2... That works in some alternate universe.

You mean like Pandora Tomorrow did with the first, ripped absolutely everything, kept a similar style story and added some tiny features? You even answered your own question; if it works then why change it?!

Oh and for the last time, it ISN'T a pure stealth game.

Do . You . Under...stand...?
