What's your maximum limit? Ebay uses proxy bidding, doesn't it? So if you beat the highest bid, you'll only pay the next increment and you'll autonmatically outbid anyone who bids less than your maximum.

When I use ebay I always make sure the things I buy always have images because you've got it to refer back to if they send you different items. I always tend to ignore items with 3/5 days to go as the chances are they go up loads anyway. And finally, I don't think I'd buy an xbox off ebay as you have no reciept for claiming guarantee if it breaks.
