Apparently EA think they don't hold enough data, so you won't be able to save quite as much on your version of Madden, as those that have it on the Xbox.

8mb as in 8192kb.

Half a meg? Is that IT? PSone cards were 1mb!

Bloody hell, I always knew Ninty have had storage problems but this REALLY takes the bsicuit!

I've just got Secret of Mana!

Sorry...

The Gamecube's memory may not be as big as some would have like but with this compression thingy, EA should be able to find a way aroung it!

Apparently the GAMECUBE Digicards are only 1/2 MB, or 512KB, but if they're not large enough I'm sure that there won't be any trouble in creating ones with much larger capacity.

Mind you, exactly what are you saving with that anyway? Player stats and the like, names, appearances of created players. It's notstuff that I personally would be incredibly fussed to lose.

As long as the cards have enough space to save all of your details in an RPG so that you can continue your game from where you left off the day before, then it will be fine.

I mean Final Fantasy VIII hardy took up much room on a PSX card, did it?

Is that 8 megabits or 8 megabytes as 8 megabits = 1 megabytes, and that not large at all.

All the cartridge based systems quote the cart capacity in bits not bytes to confuse people.

Are they using the same Madden as the PS2 version? The GC digicard holds about the same as a PS2 memory card doesn't it?

What about those Panasonic card things, surely those would hold it?

(Expensive, mind.)

So is the X-Box. And you only need to buy one of those cardy things anyway.

Ha! Who cares. That problem won't last for long... there will be a remedy available soon, at your local pharmasist... :D

And, hey... the GC version is the best looking out of the lot. Hopefully they'll take advantage of the GC's functions like when you have a crunching tackle and your head 'spins' they can use the bluring thing like in SFA. In the review.... how cool would that be.
