Your Opinions on the game
You can even set up Xbox Live games with people when the game hits the shelves (whooppee)

Well that Covenant language sounded a damn lot like English to me.

I had a dream the other night. I was playing Halo 2 - some weird version of it anyway! I was shooting big monsters with double uzis and they turned into big skeletons! I phoned up my brother and shouted something like "dude! i'm fudging playing halo 2!" then i hung up :-D

Just thought i'd share! ;-)

Bungie have been working on Halo for the past 7-8 years, so it's good to know they're taking a break from it for a while.

HALO 2 REACHES 1 MILLIONS IN PRE-SALES?

A report that more than 1 million presales have been recorded for Halo 2 is "premature and speculative," said the Microsoft rep. Official numbers have preorders for the highly anticipated sequel at 750,000 units.

Whether or not this constitutes "the highest presale in the history of video games" is also disputed. Some reports put preorders for 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City at more than 4 million, but Microsoft asserts that to its knowledge, the title "did not presell more than 1 million units." The discrepancy probably arises from the two different definitions of "preorder." One definition involves retailers' orders, while the other involves customers whose money has been put down in advance of a game's release.

BUNGIE STUDIOS NEXT PROJECT WILL NOT BE HALO 3

"We are very excited about and focused on the November 9 launch of Halo 2 and have not announced plans for or against another sequel."--Spokesperson for Bungie-owners Microsoft.

In the BBC article, Bungie studio manager Pete Parsons talks about the upcoming sequel. Besides saying it will be mercifully free of the first game's repetitive levels, he talked about its in-depth storyline. "We have several 100 years of Halo fiction laid out," said Parsons, referring to more novels based on the game and a possible Halo film. But when asked about Bungie's next project, Parsons said "after Halo 2 we are planning to do something different.

We will do something else and we have a few ideas." This one line had Halo-headz raging on forums about Covenant conspiracies--and Microsoft doing some major spin control. Add to that the persistent rumor that many Bungie staffers are planning to join their former boss Alex Seropian at Wideload Studios when Halo 2 ships. If that comes to pass, the Bungie that would make Halo 3 could be a very different animal.

NOOOO If you take Parsons at his word. However, with Halo 2 pre-orders reportedly topping 2 million, you can bet a third game in the series will arrive sometime.

NEW CINEMATIC HALO 2 TRAILER TO HIT CINEMA SCREENS

According to the spoiler-packed (WARNING! WARNING!) Team Xbox post, the trailer begins with high-graphics shots of a leveled city on Earth. Stomping through the smoldering ruins is a Covenant "walking transport" similar to a "giant Star Wars AT-AT with a huge gaping mouth with massive ships coming out.

"Some of the new vehicles were described as more "boxy" than previous Covenant craft. More important was the summary's mention of the Covenant Prophets, the religious leaders of the multi-racial, interstellar theocracy. Glimpsed only briefly, the prophets are said to play a key role in Halo 2, and, according to the Team Xbox leak, they speak English rather the Covenant language uttered by Grunts and Elites.

If true, this could add ammo to the theory that humans are indeed, the "Founder" race spoken mentioned in the first Halo, as has been speculated by many hardcore fans of the game. Then again, it could be one of those same fans passing the time until November 9 by posting mischievous fictions on forums.

Good news creepy.

I was hosting a 6 v 6 SW:BF game with 6 bots per team. Hardly any lag and my connection was nearly full except 1 green bar.

That was with the PC turned on so if I turn the pc off I should be a good host.
