IGN have done a joint article on the different paths you can follow in Fable. The game looks immense, particuarly liked the clip where someone asks him "What the hell do you look like" so he pulls out his pork sword and cuts that mofo up.

Really can't wait for this game.

Yup, the disappointment of Black & White is another reason I'm sceptical about Fable.

I can't really get hyped up about this.

It sounds nice but some of the videos look awful. And the character accents really do annoy me.

If it turns out like all the hype would suggests then yes I would have to agree it will be something extremely special.

Like with Driv3r though I have my doubts, not from a technical point of view but whether he will suddenly remember that games are meant to be played for fun, not to replicate real life to the point that it becomes mind numbingly boring.

I don't really understand, I thought you didn't like RPG's Tilta?

Also for those who have played Black and White, you will be fully aware of how much crap Peter Molyneux comes out with. Black and White promised everything but it turned out to be one of the jmost dull and un-inspiring games I have ever played.

I hope Fable is different but on past record there isn't enough to suggests that he can pull something like this out of the bag.

I've watched the developer commentary about 5 times, now.

I love the concept much

That's what I plan on doing. If it looks like my wife's gonna leave me I'll give the wench a sword to the gut before she gets the chance, then have my way with her mother.

Im getting this.

I'll play it in the way that, if I don't like somebody, they'll get the gutting of a lifetime else I'll just go round being a saint.

Apart from obvious things, like decent gameplay etc. The most important aspect is really the 'moral greyscale', too many games with differing player alignments have made it painfully obvious which dialogue/quest choice leads to what alignment. The real challenge is having at least 7 or 8 options for any part of the game, each offering a slightly different alignment shift to the others.

I'm sure it won't live up to all expectations, it's been hyped up beyond belief. But judging from the footage I've seen, as long as they get the controls right then it should be a damn good game anyway.
