No not very small Pc's i'm talking about Pc's bought from Tiny. I bought one off my uncle who was getting a better PC so sold me his but without any speakers. I've tried 3 lots and none of them work and every time i start my computer i always get the same message about speakers from Tiny. So my question is do my speakers have to be of Tiny make for them to actually work on my computer?

Well most of the inside was ripped out by my uncle and he put in his own stuff (why he didn't just build himself one i don't know) so it works fine. Plays all my games fine with no slowdown.

Is the PC itself OK though? Tiny do what seem to be decent prices on decent specs but I've heard from other people, as well as those on here, that their PCs are trash.

Replaced the sound card and all is fine now. Was an ancient sound card apparently so was to be expected i suppose

Yeah... my family got a Tiny PC years ago (p3 450). They've used sooo much crap inside that it's amazing, and I've had more bugs with it than any other I've used apart from and old Compaq.

Tiny PC's really are the absolute pits, my uncle paid about the same price for his computer as my mum and dad paid for ours from an independent, they were about the same spec on paper but he has onboard graphics, a really dodgy "1Ghz" athlon that actually only runs at 801Mhz, the smallest and most pitiful modem i have ever seen and the most annoying part, all of the bloody connectors are glued into their slots.

Tiny may say that it is to stop the cables coming out during transit, but to be honest i think thats just a crackass story they have concocted to try to cover their backsides.

Sorry to moan, but they rip vulnerable people off.

Ah, right. I thought that there was a connection to the soundcard in some way. =(

You will only get CD music then, you can't play mp3's or hear system sounds through that jack.

When i get to my desktop after turning my computer on i get a small box saying runtime error, which always appears and i have no idea why it does and also a Tiny screen showing me how to put my speakers in and telling me when i hear music to continue on. If i do that i get the tiny mascot fella walking around talking but i can't hear him as my speakers don't actually work

In the CD Rom drive there's often a headphones socket, so why not try plugging in speakers for a personal CD player in the socket if you have some? It's a bit scrappy, but worth a try.

What message do you get, exactly? You should be able to plug some speakers/headphones into a jack on the rear (sometimes there's also a jack on the front), that's usually bogey green.
