"Sonic for PS2?"

Mabye I'm being hopeful but does anyone know, now that SEGA is going multiplatform, of any plans to have a Sonic game on the PS2 and what do you think of the idea?

veichals that are conected to the characters:
tails in his aroplaine
robotnic in one of his machines
sonic running

etc

In the interest of originality, perhaps there could be an alternative to karts. Any ideas?

i think that would be a great game.
every one else has done it - mario, crash , nickelodeon, toy story , woody wood pecker,star wars everyone, now its sonics turn, and where better to do it than the PS2

mabye you could have sonic features like a sonic spin speed boost or a tails flying leap.

a sonic cart game on ps2 would be good.
more mario kart style and less sonic r style

Not owning sonic games was the biggest sacrifice I made when choosing to spend my limited resources to buy a PS2 over a Dreamcast. This would we very good news to me.

I think it would be a very good idea - What better platform to have the next Sonic title on than the PS2!!
Ive just purchased SOnic Adventure 2 on DC and its an excellent game - I would love to see the PS2 continue the series!!
