Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

Actually i have to agree, the only funny element are the camp man slaves lol but overall as a film it's terrible IMO. I actually found myself saying what was going to happen while watching. As soon as that blind chinese guy said "I look after his daughter" it was obvious straight away that the daughter was going to be 'the chick' of the film. Too many cliches aswell :P Story from when a boy was young. His father gets killed. He gets trained by a chinese guy ("wax on, wax off"). Ends up getting the girl and regaining what he lost. Except it's based on table tennis. You could do that with any sport!

Disagree there. Its bad yes. Awful? I dont think so

The one line "I'm saving the panda.....................Panda's dead!" had me laughing for ages, I dont know why. Maybe that made me think fondly of it however.

A film that starts with a kid who is a table tennis pro, messes up a finals match, which gets his father killed by some crazy chinese table tennis warlord. He grows up to be asked by an FBI agent to help take down the same guy who killed his father. He is trained by a blind man, and falls in love with his niece. Will he be able to be the best again? Quite frankly, i'm not bothered.

This has to be the most predictable, and one of the worst films i've ever seen. 1/10

Saw the new Harry Potter yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Definately the most dark of all the Potters. Biggest fault I thought was the pacing as it is kinda off and it does drag toward the end.

Seeing as no one as posted in here for nearly a month,thought I would give it a bit of a bump.

Streetfighter : The Legend Of Chun Li : Garbage 2/10

Memento : Recently watched this again as I had forgotten what happened in it (no pun intended !) : Good 8/10.

The International : Meh ! 5/10

Dead Space Downfall : Watchable enough anime but won't make much sense if you haven't played the game 6.5/10.

Hot Rod : Totally mental,but it made me laugh 7/10.

Ghostbusters : Still as ace as ever and the Blu Ray transfer is surprising good.Film does not look quarter of a century old on it at all.Classic stuff 10/10.

That's about all I can think of at the moment.

anti matter bomb. what a farce. Science vs religon. Illumanti vs the catholic church.


Might as well have been angel kind vs demon kind.


Come on guys, why couldn't they make a decent story that was bonkers? Fahrenheit managed it in spectacular fashion! Creepy ritual murders! fight the internet! pull out matrix powers from no where! dead guy making out with hot police chick who turns out to be the detective trying to catch you! more sex!


But back on topic. the davinci code. A Well and truly a horrible movie. A clanger. Like alien vs predator whereby anderson realises he has too many characters for a very short movie and promptly kills 95% of the cast to sqeeze in a incoherent, lame, pointless and generally meh story together. I'm glad it really was short.

Ah, crap movies, we need to discuss more about them.


Any other recent movies...I suppose there was cowboy bebop the movie, but i'll need some time to decide about that one.

If the book is anything like the movie, i would have been glad to miss it. The movie was terrible. Everything was rushed, the characters annoying (robert langdan proved he could crack a century old mystery in a minuate by staring at a wall). The story boring and over hyped.

It was a really, really crap movie. Thank god i didn't pay money to watch it. And i certainly pitty the people that did.
