Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

The Expendables - waste of time and money. Good job there wasn't a sharp stick handy.

Scream 4. Another waste of time and money. Rehash of the previous ones and no where near as funny. You have to provide your own "in theatre" comedy it seems as the only thing that got a laugh out of me was my niece jumping half way through. She then spent the rest of the movie digging Maltesers out of her bra...

Because every advert I have seen for Insidious seems to have 'From the makers of Paranormal Activity' plastered all over it I presumed it was something similar.I don't suppose 'The best haunted house movie since Casper The Friendly Ghost' would have had the same effect?

It is not the same sort of thing save for being a haunted house film. By that standard casper the friendly ghost would be the same sort of thing.

I thought you liked that Paranormal Activity kind of stuff,isn't Insidious the same sort of thing? Doubt it would do much for me TBH,I thought Paranormal Activity was garbage.Saw The Last Exorcism the other week that was pants as well.Thought Spanish horror Julia's Eyes was alright,not amazing but I've seen worse.Reminded me a bit of the stuff Dario Argento used to make.

Very deep, but it's a good movie. Especially if you like creatures with telekinetic powers

Supposed to be very good.
