In a way, yes.
I read his bullying post and my heart went out to him, I was in a similar place when I was at school, I could identify with him a lot.
I'm not a little kid anymore (not to be patronising to anyone that is at school still), and when I hear about other people being bullied, I want to grab those mooks and remove their heads.
But instead of being withdrawn, distant and all the other things you can be from taunts and bullying, he's channelled that into writing.
And I think that should be encouraged.
Not merely through sympathy, but because he has written a damn good story.
He's heard enough bad things said to him, even if it's just me saying "Well done, that's excellent", then as far as I can see, that's a good thing.
Sure, laugh and mock people for doing stupid things, but when someone does something good, they should be made aware that other people think they have a talent.
This isnt me saying "Hey everyone, be nice to him, he's been bullied", this is me saying "Hey, he's written a brilliant story, well done mate" and hoping he makes something of this talent.
