Also, I don’t normally say this but every single screenshot that is on the site really tells me how good the game is going to be graphics wise. I have never seen graphics like them and probably never will for a while.
After skimming through the car list, some of the cars involved have really shocked me and increased the anticipation immensely. The cars that I’m really looking forward to driving are: - the “Jaguar XJ220”, the “Lamborghini Diablo GT Car” and there is a heading “Formula 1”, now I don’t know a lot about cars or anything but if these are real F1 cars then I will be really happy!
Also, some of the classic tracks are making a return, “Trial Mountain”, “Special Stage Route 11” and “Deep Forest” but these are also greeted with some new tracks, the ones that catch my eye the most are “Smokey Mountain” and “Tahiti Maze”. I can only the lush imagine the scenery of “Smokey Mountain” and the twisty corners of “Tahiti Maze” pushing my driving skills to the max.
There is also a return to some of my favourite cars; these include the “Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR” and the “Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec”. The fact that these cars are still included reassures me that Sony are still sticking to their roots to an extent. I also think the game play will not be that different of that of the prequels but that is not a bad thing!
Gran Turismo 3 is going to the biggest game of the year easily, although that may change with the release of the eagerly awaited “Metal Gear Solid 2” but there is no doubt in my mind that this will be the biggest racing game ever on the Playstation 2.
