Is Sol worth £200,000 a week, well Inter Milan thinks he is but would anyother club in the world pay that?

Inter Milan have more money than sense i tell you! But i suppose if Basketball and Baseball Players get paid the same amount why should Football players lose out.

People have been saying that Sol is greedy but i think that if you can get paid that amount you should go out and find a club willing to pay it.

If we have a problem with it maybe we should go on strike and not go to the matches, because that is where most of the clubs get there millions from.

Sol Campbell should not listen to the media and go out and find a club that suits his life style. He has served Spurs for some like 13 years from trainee ship. He had more opportunities to join clubs like Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool than i have had hot dinners!

He could of left Spurs to win medals, but he stuck with Spurs though thick and thin, so he should be slagged off by Spurs fans and the media.

Imagine Campbell when he's 60's years old man talking to his grandson.
Big Campbel:
'When I was your age I only got 200 grand for my job. How much money are you gettting me lad'(Don't ask me where the accent came from)

Little Campbell:
'I earn four pounds fifty in Kwick Save pa pa'

Big Campbell:
'Damnit boy, who's gonna look after your grandad when I'm on my pension huh boy?

Little Campbell:
Grandad you own Wales and half of the Republic of Dominique, why would I have to look after you?

Big Campbell:
'Well er, um well, um why um why don't you earn 200 grand a week huh? How old are you?

Little Campbell:
' 13....'

Big Campbell'
'13! 13! When I was 13 I was a Tottenham trainee!'

Little Campbell:
Who are they?'

Big Campbell:
Well, ummmmmmm................. That doesn't matter! The use to be in the big leagues but anyway, I made my money and I made it fast!

Little Campbell:
'What for kicking an inflated pig skin into a net?

Big Campbell:
Don't sass my boy! (Gives wee Campbell a spanking) I was a defender, I defended that from happening, and I was damn good at it as well wasn't I'

Little Campbell:
What by being injured 90% of the time and playing the as one of the best for a team of retards!

Big Campbell: Why I said don't sass my boy (Spanks the kid till the cow comes home)

£200,000 a week! This is just getting rediculous. He earns a week what my dad brilliant office job earns in 4 years. ITs stupid! "Hey, if you give me £200,000 a week, I'll kick a football around for you and generally have good time"

Nobody's worth that much a week if he worked/trained for say a typical 40 hour week he would be on £6250 PER HOUR. Some people are looky if they earn that much in one YEAR.

Inter Milan have actually been said to have offered Sol Campbell around £250,000 a week and although I have been a Tottenham fan all my life and have always admired Sol Campbell, I do not belive that he is worth that much money. Then again, no-one is worth that much money in football. If Sol Campbell was to be offered that much money, there would be quite a few other footballers who should be offered around that much as there are quite a few footballers who are better than Sol Campbell. Players like Rivaldo, Figo and Zidane should all be offered at least £250,000 a week if Sol Campbell is to be offered that much. So I have to answer the question by saying 'NO'.

Since Baseball players have been mentioned I might as well hit you with the horrific reality of it. Here goes...

The highest paid playr in Baseball, well sport for that matter is Alex Rodriguez, who will earn a staggering $282,000,000 over ten years, or $542,000 a week (give or take a few thousand dollars).

Only in America they say, but for how long??

No in answer to the question- he isn't saving lives, are helping people read, hes an entetainer- why 200,000£? stupid!

Problem is though, it will get worse, in America, Baseballers earn more than football players. Imagine were the money could go. Some day satrs will be expectin this muhc- money maybe scarce!!
