From the CIA World Factfile:

Sonic the Hedgehog: Last seen stumbling out Stringfellows in a dishevelled state following his birthday party. The 'spiked-wonder' was rumoured to have been escorted back to his hotel by two lap dancers, and has not been seen since.

Ecco the Dolphin: Spotted at various locations, the most recent being in a tuna fish sandwich at Luton Services on the M1. Presumed dead, if not technically missing.

Crash Bandicoot: Recently arrested for destroying stock at Raven Crystal Glassware in Croydon.

Mario and Luigi: Confirmed reports indicate that these two saviours of the world are now working for Dyno-Rod until they are next called upon to rescue princesses. Due to the current public sway against the monarchy, they have signed up for a Dyno-Rod company pension, however.

Lara Croft: Photograhpic evidence depicts her booking into Madame Blowoeup's Clinic in Beverley Hills for some 'surgical enhancements'.

Solid Snake: Depending on how you played the torture scene, Solid Snake is either living happily ever after in a mountain cabin in the Rockies with Meryl, or living happily ever after in a mountain cabin in the Rockies with Otacon.
