"Is It All Over For The X-Fils?"

I know tonight at 9pm On Sky One sees the season finally of season 8. I was under the assumption that this was also the final OX-Files before the hopeful move to OX-Files movies, Is this correct is thist the last time Scully and Moulder will grace our TV screens in NEW episodes?

And how come I've seen the last episode on normal TV when

Erm the last episode on BBC2 I presume ?

Nope, Fox have confirmed Season 9 is a go for filming later in the year but Mulder will NOT be in it at all. NO mention has been made of Scully but David Duchovny has said in a recent tv mag interview he does not want ot be in it at all, not even as a cameo role. I think tonight's episode will reveal why Mulder won't be in it anymore anyway....and maybe Scully too if the rumours are true. In hte same interview Duchovny describes what happens in tonight's episode as "Mulder's finest hour"........... I think I know whose going to be killed off tonight but I'll know if I'm irght in like 6 hours 43 minutes :)
