Why?
Because I can.
Of course, anyone else contributing to the animation, such as Pb, are very welcome to add to it... perhaps we could pile it together at the end, fling it on a DVD, and call it a 'Special Edition', even though it's utter crap.
First of all, if you haven't seen this pic yet, perhaps now is the time to do so.

What I'm basically doing first, is creating all the characters, faces, arms, bodies... so on. I first sketch them in my drawing pad... and then draw them on pc, from what I made.
That was the early Sheepy on the left, and Sniper on the right... unfortunatly, because I smoothed out the face too early, I had to start it again. All it takes away is time though, it will still look the same.
I've nearly finished Sheepys head now, including hair... Fancy a look?
No?
Ah well.
I'll at least give you the choice.

The mouth will need to be made properly, and the eyes could be tidied up...
Apart from that, pretty good I think. It's the first time I've done hair, and I think it looks ok.
Here's something for you to do though... I'm not sure wherever or not to give him ears. I personally don't want to, basically because it's hard, and I'm lazy.
One thing I'm worried about at the moment is lip sync... it's not going to happen. If you have this wonderful vision of all the characters speaking perfectly, get your brain brush, and scrub them clear. You'll get a lovely *mouth open-mouth closed* movement. No more, no less.
And that concludes todays update. I've drawn Ant already, so I may start him tommorrow... or I'll start Sniper again. If you have any ideas, or comments, please put them forward.
Ant, I'll go just render your whole body now, and post it up somewhere.
Nice, Grix. Velly nice. I'm working early tomorrow (8am start - boo!) so I may well be on the net later in the evening.

Lol!! I wondered why you'd insulted him!
And yeah, I'll

Same here. People insult the stories, I set my

The stories suck, hahahahahahaha
come and catch me if you can, muah ha ha ha
Grix, have you got a close-up of my face anywhere??
It seems that the video won't be as large as I first expected!
A lot less, in fact, but still a hell of a lot of memory.
Ah well. As I said, I may burn it onto cd and send it to people... at a price. ;0)
First update in a while, I know, I'm sorry. I have to wake up at seven o'clock to go to work experience. This means I have to go to bed early, and I get back from work at 5:30PM, so I get little time to actually do anything with it.
Last day tommorrow though, four day week, so I'll be able to do some stuff on Friday. Like finish my story.
Anyway, here's a video for you. It's Ant walking, via body, in the sand... it's 782K, and five seconds long. I thought it was going to be about five meg, you see. Still, a hell of lot of room is going to be needed. I'll have to make this thing in episodes.
Just uploading the vid...
Ok, so what's wrong with it?
Firstly, no shadows. Sorry.
Secondly, the joints of the body are... as you can see, rather open. The legs I'm afraid you're going to have to live with, but I can make the body better, so you don't get those lines.
Thirdly, Ant is made from 17,322 polygons. Just thought you'll like to know. :0)

(Space.)
Oh yeah, and the sky. I'm going to animate that as well, so you'll get some lovely clouds moving across the sky.
All in all, a nice little update, I think. Now go download that video, before homestead kick me off.
There are 30 frames in each second.
I need a new PC.
But never mind, it will take a lot of time, but it shall be done.
By the way, does anyone know of any decent free video editing software? Avi's, that is.
Shall I ignore the busy signs again?! ;-)
