For some reason, I never even gave this a look - until a saw it second hand for £15. It doesn't look too bad actually.

So, worth getting?

Well it is completly different to what i'm used to, but i thought it was ok.

I was considering getting it a while back but I read some reviews on gamefaqs and it didn't sound too good

Nah, it fills in the story about the last 2 years before Yuna meets back up with Rikku and co.

Why does it have an inbetween DVD of FFX-FFX-2?

I'd say yes. I picked it up cheap as well, it's a very frustrating game at times, but there are 7 different characters or so to play each with a different story line. I found it different to all the other RPG style games, and the cartoon graphics and battles make a bit of a change too. Plus it does have the dvd of the "inbetween" story of FFX to FFX-2, which is almost worth it for that alone cause you can't get it anywhere else.
I also found it quite hard, but rewarding if you keep at it! So for 15 squid i'd definately give it a shot!
