In Japan Nintendo are testing many different methods of using the link cable to interact with different electronical goods, mobile phones are obviously the biggest venture with Nintendo actually trying top-up-cards which will allow the GBA to go on the internet (cartridge) with a prepay kind of method. Obviously I can see this working with linking a mobile phone but with a much better screen and the options seem endless and Nintendo are exploring many different possibilities....
...another piece I plucked from a little bird was that of a kind of business like approach, it seems that the GBA is going to have a cartridge released for it which keeps phone numbers, minigames, calenders, and in general a cartridge like a palm pilot.
More rumours and unheard news you want? You greedy people.
Well as I said a couple of days ago Black & White will be appearing on the GB's (GBC and GBA). I would like to inform people of a game which will be launched for the GameCube and apparently it is looking like nothing ever seen before with four player cooperative mode, the games name is Operation Saffire or 'Saffire'. Watch out for this one, many of you may have heard of it but its going to be good... oh yeah!
Well nothing else really great at the moment...
er-no
> FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO!
Thar's nowt wrong with Pokemon m'ladee.
I imagine your thinking of the cartoon, the trading cards and the toys when you think Pokemon, rather than the intelligent, original and highly addictive game.
What really impressed be is that they took something like Gameboy gaming, and made it something you could do with your mates. Normally playing on the GB is a pretty anti-social affair, so to see kids talking to people, trading pokemon with them, well I saw that as a really good thing.
Pokemon GBA would be absolutely huge! Any GBA's left on the shelves would just fly off! As long as it wasn't just a case of even more Pokemon. What they should do is make catching them a little more complex. Rather than just bumping into them at random in certain areas, it would be really impressive if you had to devisetraps to catch them. Imagine luring a Pokemon into a net using bait, then having to defeat it before you could capture it! That would be way more fun, and a method of moving the game on a level. What we certainly don't want is more of the same!
Another think they could do is work on the time aspect of the game. I believe that Gold and Silver had certain Pokemon that could only be caught during the night, and some that only came out during the day. This too could be extended, with each hour differing, rather than just day and night. To help keep track of this you could use a notebook much like Link does in Majoras Mask. You could gain the knowledge from other trainers in gyms and the like "I saw a Thingmejig at 11 am, by the pond". Again it would take the game up a level, and make it that little bit more of a challenge.
Yep, Pokemon is good.

"D'oh!"
> It's his clan tag for online games isn't it?
