Only one thing thats bothering me - some things tend to flicker in game - mainly the test - but some other textures too. Does anybody else get this, and will a scart fix it?
Apart from that it looks good!

My TV has a start socket, but it makes no difference with the scart adapter they provide. So would an RGB scart fix it?

Nope.
My old TV did that though. But I haven't had a problem with that since I got my new TV with SCART, so I guess that must be it.
Easiest thing to do, if your TV doesn't have SCART, just plug the PS2 into your VCR scart then use the AV socket.
