As for pre-owned games - if I want a game that's cheaper pre-owned, I'll get the pre-owned copy. I've never had an issue with bad cases/disks, just as long as the game works. The thing I hate most about pre-owned games is that there's always a sneaking suspicion that somebody might have read the manual whilst sitting on the can. Nobody wants that.
Local Blockbuster is becoming a good source of secondhand cheapness, plenty of decent 4.99 titles!
