Turok 2 is good.

Turok 2 is far, far worse than Evolution. In comparison Turok Evolution seems great.

Well this is where we differ. It wasn't astounding.
But I enjoyed it.

Started playing it today and from what I've played so far I would recommend it. The only bad thing is Bruce Campbell's voice over help at the beginning. He tries to be so cocky and just ends up irritating.
The swinging is great, once you get used to it, and the different things you can do throughout the city are good fun.

DHV is one of the worst FPS games I've ever had the displeasure of playing.

Return of the King's pretty decent in co-op, but otherwise avoid them all.

Now Die Hard Vendetta, that is an underrated game.
Jedi Knight II is so so much better on the PC. So so much better. And whatever you do don't get Nightfire, it's awful. Get Die Hard Vendetta if you MUST get a shooter, but if you're getting Spiderman 2, then I wouldn't fuss about getting a new game just yet, as it's a lot of fun.
