...The short man with a large belly and dirty moustache opened the door whilst counting the green dollar notes in his hand. His cigar, half smoked moved slightly as he totalled the cash to himself. His eyes hardly moved.
A crash of lightning thundered down on the city around lighting up the vast darkness, making those shadows that hid the dark figure even larger. The rain beat down on the cars outside making a drumming sound. The beat of doom.
"What do you want?" asked the plump man as he put the green notes in his trouser pocket.
"It's time for you to pay." replied the figure who noticed that the plump man was wearing a badge with the words 'Sony Official' on his striped blue shirt.
The Sony official looked up. He saw a dark shadowy figure, about 6ft in height wearing a long dark gray coat. He was soaked right through and seemed to be carrying something in both hands. Something that he couldn't quite make out. It was too dark. "Who are you?" he cried, his face had changed. Sweat was pouring from his forhead.
"They call me Edgy. Psycho Edgy," he stepped forward and the light shone on his axe, "It is time for you to pay for your actions."
Edgy stepped forward again, pushed the short, fat man onto his hotel room bed, leaving a trail of water on the musty brown carpet, that had dripped from his coat.
"I don't know what you mean!" His hands began to shake. He put one of his trembling hands into his trouser pocket and threw the money towards Edgy. "Here! Take it! You can have the lot!".
He was scared and Edgy could smell his fear. "I don't want your money. Just your pityful soul."
As he said that he pulled the axe up towards his shoulders, "Any last words?"
"Please don't hurt me! I'll do anything!" He got on the floor and grabbed Edgy's legs down by his feet. He begged and pleaded for his life. Edgy just kicked his hands away.
The axe swung down towards the ground. It hit the obese Sony Official right in the center of his chest. Blood seaped out the sides of the wound and poured onto the carpet. The figure slowly turned his head towards Edgy, opened his mouth to say something, but all that came out was a short dying breath. His eyes stayed open.
Edgy picked up some of the money, put it in his inner coat pocket, and walked out the door. The rain beat down and another bolt of lightning struck the earth.

Edgy lay asleep in his hideout. He was in the sewers. No one would look for him there.
A rat ran past his bed. It squeaked, had a sniff around, then continued running through the sewer tunnels.
Edgy rolled over in his sleep. As he did a bright ray of light his his eyelids forcing them open. It was daytime again.
Edgy turned on his radio only to find he was just in time for the early morning news.
...."The county sheriff was shocked to hear that the alchohol filled corpse was discovered of a Sony Official who is yet to be named. There were reports of someone screaming in the night, but hotel guests thought that someone was just having a party which is quite common in the Ramada Resort on International Drive. Police think this was a murder attack but who did it and why that person did it is yet to be known. If you have any leads...."
Edgy turned off the radio.
He looked to his bedside and saw his axe, a dry layer of blood on the tip of the blade, leaning against a table. He smiled. His plan was in motion...
