Wakka + Stranger = void of sense.

This has to be one of the most idiotic threads of recent times.
FF7 is not only the best FF, but probably one of the best games ever made.

That's a bit harsh...

FFVIII was great as a game, but they really messed up with the whole 'as your level goes up so do the monsters' thing.

And about the worst...

X-2.

Come on! It's a sequel! No!

I have to agree with you there Matt. FF's are made by the storylines and 7 and took all in that sense. It was like being in a movie where you were the lead character.

I couldnt really get into Final Fantasy IX. It was a bit of a disappointment for me after the brilliant VII and VIII

Close tie of VII and X-2.

VII was the first one most of us played, it had the storyline, the characters and was quite long.

X-2 has the characters, the music, generally expands on the world it takes place in, but isn't so long, but it's unique.

How about worst one?

I'd say IX because I couldn't stand the dwarf like characters all the time.
