It was a joke.
There was no swearing, he hasn't complained and, above all, I don't post to offend people or upset them.
A joke. A funny. A giggle.
And I'm not even going to dignify your posts with a response anymore Corleone.
Just bear in mind how SR reacted to you last time.
Well, I thought that was funny
I bought it assuming it would be 'ok' and it was on the cheap so I thought 'why not?'.
I get home and stick it on and then my jaw hit the floor!
Ok, so the wire work is not quite as clean as Crouching Tiger and so, the physics of the Kung Fu don't always work perfectly, but I would say that this is one of the best I've seen!
As with most films with Yuen Woo Ping at the helm the choreography is just amazing and some of the ideas are superb.
I should warn you that though the actors appear to be taking it quite seriously, the action sequences are absolutely ridiculous to a highly amusing degree. But thats exactly what makes the film sooo good!!!
Also, if you are heavily into the Kung Fu genre then you've probably heard of Wong Fei Hong, this film depicts Wong Fei Hong as he is growing up learning about medicine and, of courde, kung fu.
You can see some amazing similarities in the way the young Fei Hong fights in this film and the way Jet Li fights in the 'Once upon a time in China' series, particularly the umbrella fights!
Maybe I'm sounding a bit like a Kung Fu geek but hey, thats my honest opinion on 'Iron Monkey'.
Dont let the Monkey title fool ya.
