I'm about to import a Jap PS2 console. The question I have is this:
I already have an import(US)Gamecube that runs perfectly on the TV I own. So I know that the TV is 60Hz and supports NTSC for the US Gamecube console, will the TV I have suffice for the JAP PS2 console, or do I have to buy a NTSC>PAL converter?
Im sure there are quite a few console importers out here that would be able to offer some help. Please reply, please!
ANY assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

THat's why you shouldn't trust subtitlers. They're giving a general idea but not a literal translation. 'Hai' is 'yes', but 'yes sir' was most probably 'yoshi' pronounced yosh, which means 'OK!'.
And lots of words that mean the same thing when speaking. Listening to anime, I've heard "Yes" (Hi) and "Yes Sir!" (Os) in about 20 different ways each.
I know this because I have subtitles.
And because my friend is being sponsored (lucky...) to learn Japanese so he can go to the Himalayas.
And they say English is the hardest language to learn...
I'm genuinely jealous - it's the one language I actually want to learn :D

Well, mod chips void your warrantee, and 50% of them are largely unreliable.
And I am fully fluent in japanese, so its no problem for me.
Also, some dual-layer discs used by japanese game manufacturers CANNOT be read by the UK/PAL PS2, regardless of whether its chipped or not.
Thats why, whoever asked that ^_^

No, why? It's the one at Cross Green in Leeds. 98% of it is crap. The only two decent stalls are this guy's and the Hot Donuts stall.
Netto? Are you referring to a Halifax one because the only one I know of in Leeds shut down some time ago.

Please tell me it is the one in Netto's car park.
