Woo, I have repurchased the console, we have been departed for so long....

I got a pre-owned one from noitatsemag (read the other way..) and a few games, picked up some right bargains.

Console + "Enhanced High Definition SCART kit" = £99.99
Project Gotham Racing 2 - £21.99
SSX Tricky - £4.98
Freedom Fighters - £9.98

OK, so the last two may not be brilliant games, but they'll keep me going.

But PGR2 is on par with SUPERB! I was amazed at it's brilliance.

Unfortuanatly the controller I got with the console is a bit knackered, I.E, it's been through alot, the A button sticks for a start, so I might ring them tomorrow, see if I can get some sort of exchange for a Controller S.

Interestingly enough, in the PGR2 case, there was a "Xbox Live" trial card, but it's all in (what looks like) Spanish or Portugese. You reckon it'd still work?

Should I complain?

EDIT: And the game manual is in a different language! PFFT!

Hmmm, you know the Test Track outside the show room, is that a playable track?

You know, as in, you can race on it/earn kudos etc?

I haven't played it yet, but I hear its good, and I only payed a tenner for it anyway, brand new!

Been busy with getting Platinums on PGR2 ;)

Don't knock Freedom Fighters - it's an excellent game.
