Rather going for an allout RPG like the GBC this is an action driven adventure that sees you having to get through the three terms of Harry's first year at Hogwarts. The events in the book are broken down into objectives that you need complete to make it to the next term. There are 29 tasks in the first term alone, including mixing potions Professor Snape, finding Hagrid's run away pets and flying a broom through the forbidden forest in search of Neville's Rememberall. Thats as well as attending the classes. winning house points an learning spells.

Harry Potter sounds great and that was my preview after playing the American Version.

Do you people have something against American People! If you do then you obviously haben't been to England lately. Yeah so it rains eveyday of the week but we don't care do we. Because every time it rains we get the chance to meet up and play a bit of Multiplayer on these lovely little games consoles os the world. Also with the Internet gaming getting sorted we can play withot leaving the house. However, the annoying thing about the PS1 and the PS2 is that you have to buy a multi tap, same with the GBA.

Back to Harry Potter, I haven't read the books but I think that it will be a good seller for all of those "ten year old" and all of the other fans. However, the PC, Game Cube and GBC versions will surely boosts the sales. But I think it won't do to well if you put it out on one format.

*A survey on every yen year olds favourite book*

1st kid: Harry Potter
2nd kid: Harry Potter
3rd Kid: Harry Potter

and so on and on and on etc (all in very annoying screechy voices)

Then:

What other books have you read?

1st kid: ummmmmm??????
2nd kid: Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets!!!
3rd kid: A maths book!!!!!!!

My oint is I don't mind the books, its just all the crappy hype about them and the rubbish that is sucked out of it -Why don't the kids read some other 'classics'?

PS Sorry to deviate from the main point - All this HP rubbish stirs my blood to boil!!!! (*&(&*^& Americans)

I don't like the idea of turning of for classes and learning stuff. I guess i'll have to wait and see what it's like before I can judge it, Broken Sword quite promising. My mum and dad play on my GB more than I do, it's not a kiddies console, just because of pokemon it's put in a catagory!
the GBA will be useful for the Gamecube aswell, i'm looking forward to that.

It COULD be good but I VERY much doubt it. The concept reeks of someone trying to milk Harry Potter for every last buck.

AHHH! That reminds me... it's time to go and write a topic slagging off Americans.
