Today, Sunday 24 June 2001, Paddy Vieria announced that he is going to leave Arsenal, because he wants a 'New Challenge in his life.'
What more of a challenge is there? Trying to win the title from Utd and win the Champions League at the same time!
I suppose their is a better challenge in Italy! Trying to help Inter Milan regain there strong hold on the championship.

Vieira has completely lost it! He said that Arsenal would finish outside the top 5 and also said that the new signings are rubbish.

Vieira looks certain to leave Arsenal, but he is still under contract so it is a safe bet that Arsenal will refuse permission for him to join Man Utd. Vieira will NOT go to Italy due to the racism there. He will surely end up with Overmars at Barcelona. Real Madrid are the only other likely candidates.
I reckon the transfer fee for PV wil top £30m and could be as high as £40m.
