Loading times are rarely an issue on the Gamecube...

This is under Ubi-soft now... they released an online game on a console that doesn't go online...

The Gamecube would get a version even if it differs from the X-box version. Remember Ubi-soft port games to other systems and makes use of the advantages of each system, rather than downgrading segments that don't work.

well I'm not that tachnially minded but I think it takes advantage of the Xbox's HD like Morrowind does to support the big areas. Then again the loading times are still a bit of a b1atch if I remember correctly...

I'm sure they'd be able to get around something as small as memory card space.

Seeing how Deus Ex creaks on the HD using Xbox I doubt Deus Ex is cube-bound.

Mabye if they dropped a few weapons, like the spiderbots that you can have running about massive levels etc.

UbiSoft are one of the best developers in the world in my opinion, so hopefully we'll be seeing Hitman with amazing graphics and Tomb Raider with... erm, just good.

Let's just hope they don't want to turn Hitman into Splinter Cell. Still, great news for Nintendo fans.

To be honest, though, I think going to Ubi Soft will mean better games from Eidos.
