Creepy has the wrong info, but the fact that Johnson was not taken by the Flood is obviously of massive significance...

I don't remember that part of the book! Dr Halsey finds that something in his genetics somehow repelled the flood, and gives Master Chief the information on two crystals - one has the full info, the other has less info but would stop ONI taking Johnson apart to find out why. Maybe time to read the book again?

First Strike was great little book, enjoyed reading it, left alot of questions unanswered tho
To be honest, as Halo did not cover the back story (basically the contents of Fall Of Reach, then it may be the case that they just leave out most of the information in First Strike, 'cause it'd be going some to condense a book into a few FMV's.
Still, I really really hope the 24th isn't going to a major disappointment - at the very least it's got to be some major news about content or something.
