Back in the old days fighting games had 2 types, one on one tekken style fighting and the other a scrolling fighter like double dragon and streets of rage. Now we have one type, the one on one like bloody roar,Tekken and Dead or Alive.
What happened to the scrolling fighters which had heaps of guys to beat up, It would make an amazing game on todays consoles. The Bouncer is supposed to take up this idea but from what I've heard squaresoft have concentrated more on the story side like the final fantasy's and I've heard it's a below average fighter.
Will anyone ever make an up to date version of these tops games??

Streets of Rage in 3D on the PS2 or any other console would be great, but look what happened when Eidos and Core had a crack with Fighting Force.
People have said that if you convert Streets of Rage into 3D, it would loose all of it's magic. Maybe that's true.
Nevertheless, I would still like to see Streets of Rage on PS2.

There have been a few on the Playstation but I cannot remember what they are called, but Streets of Rage was the Ultimate along with Golden Axe. 3D versions of these on the PS2, go on Sega you know you want to!!!
