Or you could go retro and get a Saturn or Megadrive or Snes and so on.
All have a pretty good back catalogue of games, although you have to go a bit specialist to get the Saturn games now, unless you know where to go for them.
But only ONE of these gives you a nice choice of colours, and that's the N64. Available in "Smoke, Ice, Fire, Jungle, Watermelon and Grape".
So the N64 is the only console where when buying it, you get asked "And what colour would you like that in?"
Does anyone actually buy a "Grape N64"?
With the others you have standard black (PS2/Saturn/Megadrive), Grey (PSX/Snes), or the garish off-white that is the Dreamcast.
Does it matter? Choice is good, but when it comes to consoles, black or grey does me every time, and I don't think I'd like a 'grape DC' or a 'watermelon PS2'.
Maybe blue would be nice...
