GAME-Cube... Game.... Cube... THE GAME... cube...
With a name like that it's bound to be quality! And I mean just imagine, all the best Nintendo games with perfect graphics, more excellent gameplay WITH the occasional FMV...
The games are coming from 3rd parties as well and even Dragon Warrior might be coming... oh joy!
The games may well be great but I think it's all in the name!
The Game.................... Cube
:)
Ok just let me say something...
'er-no is a better name'
lol
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
:)
Give me my name back, or I will be forced to tell!
Oh and by the way its er-no...
:)
:P
I don't know how making games will compare to the X-Box developement, so far developers and retailers see the GC Dev Kits as the best ones.... and if this is the case i'm sure we'll see some quality titles headed to Gamecube...
One thing that worries me is that the Gamecube is too late! The PS2 will have been out for a year and a half by the time we get the Gamecube.... and bearing in mind that, that is over TWO Christmases, Nintendo have got a fight on their hands...
Lets hope the GBA acts as a Nintendo insurance policy and reserves those shelves by the TV for the Gamecube!
I wonder how long the games will last?! I mean there was Banjo-Tooie on the N64 which lasted about 40 Hours... and then Conker which some people completed in 8! I hope Starfox is long... and it has a decent multiplayer....all though that might spoil it... I'd rather have a 10/10 solo-game rather than a 9/10 solo game and a mediokre multiplayer feature!
I think Nintendo will be doing loads of things with the multiplayer options in games now...
My reccommendations are:
Melee - Tournaments
Rogue 2 - Co-Op
Luigi's Mansion - Player 2 as Doctor... (Helping Luigi)
Starfox - Player 2 as 'Prince Tricky'
Just a few... I wonder if Nintendo have got any secret games under wraps! I mean they've GOT to have a Mario game sooner or later.... i'd like to see the two plumbers in a game together... maybe an RPG with Mario, Luigi, Toad and Peach...
Oh and one game i've been suggesting for years is Mario Olympics. You could have all the events. Different characters with strengths and weaknesses... 4-Player action... Everything a real olympics game should have only with a 'twist' of Mario!
What do you think...?
I suppose RPG's are good, although I prefer the RPG-Rpg's rather than the Real-Time-Rpg's... Both can be good, but if I can choose one it'd be the real ones.
One thing that gets me is that Acclaim are releasing Crazy Taxi... yes, the first one, for Gamecube... I mean if 'we' have Sega why not get CT2 at least... I suppose, actually the first one was better... the NY based one looks a 'wee' bit too samey... the Frisco based one had a lot more character!
But there we go!
