Whilst I can always borrow a few of my brothers games, I'm not sure there is much else. And when I also own an Xbox and 'Cube, I'm not going to be buying a hell of a lot of 3rd party titles. Also, I need to find out about the PS2 online offerings, because if its expensive there is no way I can get it.
So, a handful of questions:
1. Online...how much, how easy, how good?
2. Any other games I might want to go for? I'm talking the top notch exxentials here, ones not available on other platforms preferably. Also take in mind I'm not a huge RPG or Stratagy fan.
3. Anything else I should know?
Cheers you guys, I'm very behind on PS2 news, in case you didn't work that out, so all help however small, and just however general, is appreciated.

On other consoles, but Ico's a thinker.
One of the main reasons I bought a PS2 was because the controls are just so much easier to get to grips with IMO.
Also Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter are 2 games I won't miss.

You've already got Live (I think your on my friends list) but even though it's better than PS2 Online you should still get it. SOCOM II is an excellent game online, very popular, it's like what RS3 is to Live, I think it's the most popular Online game on the PS2.

The Network Adaptor is only £16.99 and theres no annual fee like on Live.
Other than that, though, not a great deal draws me in the PS2 direction.

If you already have BB, you just need the network adaptor, possibly a router too.
Very easy (to setup)
Doesn't even show up on the radar compared with Xbox and PC.

Essentially, no. You're not missing anything revolutionary, or fun even.

If you're planning on the XB and can afford the extra £40/year, go for that. If you're already a PC online gamer, then PS2 really won't add anything significantly new.

Yes.
But yeah, thanks again, and I will be going for the uber-shiny silver PS2, yaas.
