Recently i managed to get some extra cash available i have about £60, was thinking about increasing the collection of games i have nestled under the telly. I know the £60 wouldnt go far on new releases and so would like some good old classics.

So far my list includes the following:

Slam Tennis
Brute Force
Unreal

I need one or two more to add, anyone give me a hand?

Foszy I can only imagine how incredibly rubbish your games collection must be, judging by the various ideas you're having at the moment. Nightfire? Please.

Freedom Fighters

You can get it for a tenner at a well known GAME shop.

It's OK, you don't have to say sorry.

2 levels of Brute Force is fun.

Then you relise it's the same thing over and over and over, wouldn't be so bad if the shooting wasn't so freaking dull and the levels weren't so stupidly linear.

I'm sorry. Evidently, fun and variation is too much to ask for in a game.

You may already have decided but I would have said screw serious sam, its serious s**t :P
Just an incredibly repetetive, shallow shoot if it moves game. Its totally bad. Its as if the designers just thought up alot of annoying monsters and put them in 50 different temples and called these levels. AVOID. You could buy mashed though? And if you search around you can find top spin for 20 quid, thats what it cost me in blockbuster.

Yeah, which is a real shame. It won't be entirely freeform, no offline game can do that. But if everyone looked at each game individually without comparison; identifying its unique properties and enjoying them (which many underrated games have and are loved for) - then it'd be much better for the industry and the people who make the games.

I agree, it's just people being overcritical on games again. They expect too much.
