The film studios must be rakeing in the money this year, How many films have been Relesed in "Special Edition" or "Box Sets" etc
For example, Omen, Predator and Alien. Don't hollywood have any GOOD new films to relese on DVD.
The only Boxset I am looking forward to is "Terminator 2" the 2 disk box set is suposed is being especialy redone for Region 2 (hence The delay as it should have been relesed by now).
T2 is suposed to be the best DVD for features EVER will SR be stocking it?

Just thought you would like to know that the Simpsons is expected to be released on R2 DVD in September as a box-set comprising of the entire first series.

It is also rumoured that it will contain the exact same extras at it's R1 counterpart.

i duno why u lots are complaining just get your DVD player chipped to be multi-region and then just import all your DVDs from the US. Loads of companies on the web do this. Today i saw region 1 toy story box set 1 and 2 for £18.

I hope they do release the Simpsons in a Box Set.
TV Box Sets are a GOOD (VHS OR DVD)idear, unlike the hollywood studios just Re-released old films on boxsets to make money, TV companies offer you the chance to own an eposisode or more commanly a season of TV progams which normaly we wouldn't be able to own.
For Example

Rocky 1 - 5 availble on VHS. Bundle a couple of them together with a few "Tweeks" add a fancy box and Hey Presto Hollywood Studio's make even more Money
They should have released the films singaly on BUDGET (£10) DVDs or add a coulple to one Disk for about £15

X-Files 26 Episodes (or a full season) + Games + LOTS of Extras for £90 (£3.50 Per Episode). As well as offering value for money for consumers the TV companies also recupe the costs of producing such Exelent TV shows.

wasn't DVD supposed to be a cheaper alternative to VHS.
I have a DVD player that nevers gets used because VHS is cheaper.

I saw a Cradle of Filth album case that was shaped like the cross on a grave once. I was tempted to get it...only tempted.

The Nightmare on Elm Street Region 2 box set is disgusting. The US version has all 7 films whereas the UK one only has five of them. Also, the US box set came with an 8th disc which was entirely made up of extra features. The UK version didn't have this.

The box sets are fantastic and i hear a simpsons DVD set is on the way just like the whole series 1 on VHS.

The Americans get the sets months before us and soon i'll be playing imports on my PS2 and never ever waiting for the PAL releases.

muhahahaha.

The Aliens box set is nice, but so is the Prisoner one, every episode and enough extras to make anyone happy.

Buffy series 2 is nice as well (see my review) Even the case on that one is something special.

Im looking forward to T2!! Was a great film and the DVD sounds great!!
The Alien Legacy box set is probably the best box set out at the moment!! Four films + extra feature disc all for under £80 - bargain!!
