Confusion seems to be arising in the United Kingdom among fans as to which television channel will be broadcasting the WWF Invasion Pay-Per-View event scheduled to commence on July 22nd of this month. Depending on where you look, many reputable sources are speculating that Invasion will air live on Sky Sports 1, and many more are saying it will air with a 50 minute time delay on Channel 4. Due to current contractual obligations and agreements between Channel 4 and the WWF, Channel 4 currently own the rights to air Sunday Night HeAT and four pay-per-view events a year, including the July event, for the next 4 years. With this in mind, it would indicate that Channel 4 will indeed be airing the PPV on July 22nd with a time delay of 50 minutes, and all rumors of a BSkyB buyout of Channel 4s wrestling rights are unsubstantiated and very much uncorroborated.
