As the most anticipated game of the year is released today, we need a place to discuss the happenings and to arrange games!

A few people asked for this to be created and so here we go.

Trusting everyone has their copy now, so let the fun begin tonight.

I, along with several others will be on Xbox but i know some are Ps3, but its the same game so no point in two threads!

I have just found my ultimate class mixture. Don't know if everyone else will find it just as easy, but i've just racked up my best games ever just now, and increased 2 levels in one sitting! (that's a big achievement for me! ;P)

Primary Weapon - UMP45
Secondary Weapon - PP2000
Equipment - Throwing Knife
Perk 1 - Marathon
Perk 2 - Lightweight
Perk 3 - Commando
Death Streak - Martyrdom

You run sooooo fast. The main points are the Marathon and Lightweight combo. Marathon giving you unlimited sprint, and Lightweight making you run faster. Commando is for increasing your knife radius, as i use this class to peg it around knifing. The throwing knife is so you can kill people who are just out of reach of your knife and have got a chance to shoot you (as it kills instantly).

You have to click your left stick down for the whole game, but it's pretty hard for someone to aim on you, and if they see you out of the corner of their eye, your pretty much gone as soon as they turn.

I like going back and starting again to have the challenge, its more fun when you level up quicker and get loads of new stuff back (maybe thats the RPG fan inside shouting at me)

Also it allows for new challenegs, titles and emblems. If i didnt have anything to really work to, i think would get bored and stop playing, but i understand why loads of people will stay at level 70, everyone has their ways!

Well I am a particularly strange person !.It was the only thing I could liken it to (at the precise moment I typed it).If people want to prestige in the game then fine,up to them.But would you pass your driving test just to rip up your licence when you got it and start having lessons all over again just to be a prestige driver ?.Can be quite funny listening to some 'prestigers' getting really wound up as they they get their butts owned on the game,purely due to the fact they have given up all their decent weapons and perks just to get a pretty little cross next to their name.

And Gears of War 2 did indeed suck online. Horde was pretty good, but team deathmatches, don't bother with them. There's always a small group of people who are veterans at the game (and probably the only ones who still play it), you'll pretty much get killed straight away. And MW2 is starting to go down on my games list already, i can tell it's not going to be another CoD 4 (in relation to how good the multiplayer is, not the fact the name's different :P)

Yeah totally, i hate people who sit there on Free For All and cheat to get the Nuke, so i enjoy finding them and ruining the kill streak hahahaha

It's a right pain, can't stand people who hack online games. I don't see why they aren't banned from live, its pretty obvious who is cheating - just take a look at the leaderboards.

Couple of my mates are nearly back to the level they were - they went into a cage match in pairs and just shot riot sheilds for hours. Boosting normally annoys me but I guess I can let them off this time :P

Wow, that sucks! Why do hackers even bother with stuff like that, i would love to meet someone in person who is a hacker or creates viruses. Really annoys me lol

Rank Reset

It seems to let you keep your titles, emblems and killstreaks. But all your guns will go back to being locked. Custom classes are not affected.

Not sure about the ps3, defo the 360 though. I think its just something like rank reset on Modern Warfare 2, I'll need to check. There's a fair whack about it on the xbox forums as well.

Really, is this on Xbox and Ps3?

What is it called, want to check it out on youtube!
