It worries me to be honest that after enjoying a very Ubi-soft Christmas last year that I may never experience games like that again.
I rarely finish games, I've finally beaten the boss in Resident Evil 0 (cheers), Pokemon Sapphire came to a close a few months back... I did Super Mario World again. I also finished Mario Kart before the end of 2003.
But to be fair the games that I've most recently finished and have remained in my memory have been Ubi-soft titles. I finished Prince of Persia in April, I'm verging on the end of Beyond Good and Evil and last Christmas would have sucked without the wonderful XIII.
It is for this reason that Beyond Good and Evil and XIII have been added to my list of "I want a sequel and I want one now".
Along with Super Monkey Ball 3, Shadowman 3 (go on Iguana, set up a new company and buy the rights) and Turok.
I'd just XIII 2 over Metroid Prime 2 anyday.
Nintendo answered my prayers recently by bringing another in the Paper Mario series. Hope it happens again.

Incorrect.
Skies 2 please, and don't crap it up.
Perfect Dark. Sure, there will be one, but not for ages yet. I waited so long for it to come out and then there was just no hint of a sequel for ages.
Blast Corp. I found that a really fun game. Complete breath of fresh air, it did something different and it did it well.
Jet Force Gemini. Fantastic game. Not much more need be said.
I see that so far I've listed only Rare games. Not deliberate, although they were the reason I bought an N64.
Oh and Jet Set Radio Future Future would be nice. As would a Crimson Skies 2.
Every other game I'd like sequels for has sequels in the works already.
As for XIII, sure it had linear levels, but then most FPS games do. I have the Xbox version, no issues with the controls on it. It looked good, had a plot to it, and famous voices. Xbox version also had Live play which was fun, although not amazing.
Not up there with Goldeneye, Halo or Perfect Dark, but better than most.
As for Prince of Persia 2, blehhh... looks to me like they've ruined it. The Disney cartoonish vibe has gone - now it's all sk8r metal soundtrack and decapitations.
XIII the best FPS ever? I heard it was rather underwhelming.
> Is the best FPS ever.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAAHAHA!
I won't be dissapointed if they never make a sequel.
Which is a damn shame.
