Imagine if all your favourite video-game characters were real. What would they be like? Would they really spend all their days saving the world? Let’s find out as we visit the REAL world…
Everyone’s favourite hedgehog, Sonic, is the current Olympic 100m and 200m champion, and the only person or thing to have run the 100m in under 5 seconds. He fought against prejudices and discrimination for being a blue hedgehog, and made it to the top of his sport. He also has a multi-million pound sponsorship deal with Nike.
Rayman used to be in a freak show (he was called the Amazing Limbless Wonder) but now is a world famous contortionist. Diddy Kong is also in the entertainment business. He has his own TV show and he is well known as the monkey who wears a cap, juggles and dances to jungle music.
Spyro the Dragon was captured by the US Government and they are currently doing tests on him as he is the only proper, fire-breathing dragon in the world. Crash Bandicoot however still roams wild as the only talking bandicoot in the world.
Mario is a lowly pizza-maker, because the army quickly thwarted Bowser’s attempts to take over the world. You might think he would be a plumber, but he was just rubbish at it.
Solid Snake was killed in action a few years back – surprisingly, he couldn’t single-handedly destroy a nuclear-equipped walking battle tank. Lara Croft, however, is stuck in an office job, because she has been unable to get funding to fulfil her passion for exploring and raiding tombs. She did have a small part in ‘The Mummy Returns’ though.
Finally, Kirby is secretly plotting to take over the world, whilst disguised as a cloud. Keep watching the skies…
