This has got to be one of the best feelings in the world, when you score that goal in the final second of ISS pro and your oppenent puts his hands in his head and starts throwing his control around the room.
Many people might of not had this experiance but i suggest you try it.
A lot of people say that online gaming is the futre of gaming but nothing beats the fact that you can see the dissapointment on your players face when you beat them in THPS2!
I'm defently going to get timesplitters and a multitap when i get my ps2. after the results i have got about the multiplayer!
I think that Online Gaming is an expeiriance not to be missed but gaming with your mates should not be forgotten.
This topic might be a bit bad, i'm very sorry if it is as it is now 11:00 at night!
At least on online games your are garaunteed a fair match against decent rivals. Something a computer can never reproduce.
Fine post it was too ;)
No I was being sarcastic, it is very quiet.

UT?? What do you mean?
With all the consoles I have had mutiplayer was a importaint aspect of them.
When I owned my playstation my brother and I managed to get 7 mates togeter and we played Micro machines V3 for about 4 hours. it really was a top laugh. The arguments, the cheaters, the fighing that went on, it really was brilliant stuff.
Now with my Dc I have many multiplayer titles like quake 3, powerstone 2 and chu chu rocket to name just 3. Its much better to spend a night with your mates and to play games all the time. Perfect Dark is another of my multiplayer favourites
I was dissapointed to see that the PS2 had only 2 control ports because as you say the like of timesplitter could have taken 4 (and above) player gaming to new places.
casual games probably won't spend £20 or so on a new multitap because they don't know what it is about and they don't reconise the fun that can be had.
To everyone that has not played a 4 player game before, you don't know what you're missing out on!
When it does work, I get pings of anything between 20 and 300, depending on the server. Anything above 100 and I don't really bother playing.
